Fergus Browning (Trinity Racing) has taken the primary chief’s jersey on the Tour de l’Ain after successful the stage 1 dash into Bourg-en-Bresse.
The Australian out-paced rivals Laurence Pithie (Groupama-FDJ) and Tobias Müller (Rad-Net Oßwald) took the stage win and now lead the general classification by seven seconds forward of Pithie.
