British Cycling named its 55-rider group for the upcoming UCI Road World Championships and Para-cycling World Championships, with Olympic MTB champion Tom Pidcock main the boys’s group for the street race, which takes place on September 29 in Zürich, Switzerland.
Pidcock is without doubt one of the high contenders for the elite males’s street race and shall be backed up by a robust contingent of WorldTour riders together with Adam and Simon Yates, Tour of Britain winner Stevie Williams, British time trial champion Josh Tarling – the nation’s major contender for the boys’s time trial – in addition to Oscar Onley, Mark Donovan, James Knox, and Jake Stewart.
