António Morgado received the Gran Premio Castellón – Ruta de la Cerámica race from the entrance, main for the ultimate kilometre after which holding off the stays of the late assault and the peloton on the driving end.
The race close to Valencia was the primary males’s race of the 2025 European season, whereas the ladies’s European season started in Mallorca.
The Portuguese UAE Team Emirates-XRG rider had time to boost his arms in celebration as he even opened a spot on Eric Antonio Fagúndez (Burgos Burpellet BH) and Clément Champoussin (XDS Astana).
It was Morgado’s fourth victory of his younger profession and UAE Team Emirates’ second of the day after Jhonatan Narváez received stage 5 of the Tour Down Under and set-up general victory.
