Josh Tarling (Ineos Grenadiers) got here out on high within the stage 2 time trial on the UAE Tour. The 21-year-old sped via the 12.2km flat course at a median pace of 56.671kph to say his first victory of the 2025 season and with it the chief’s jersey.
Tarling was quickest on the day’s single intermediate checkpoint and on the end, setting a time of 12:55 on the line. He beat Stefan Bissegger (Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale) into second place by 13 seconds, whereas Tadej Pogačar (UAE Team Emirates-XRG) rounded out the rostrum in third place at 18 seconds down.
Race chief and stage 1 winner Jonathan Milan (Lidl-Trek) was the final man residence. The Italian completed forty ninth on the end line, 1:13 down, handy over the pink jersey to Tarling.
