Elisa Longo Borghini (UAE ADQ) moved into the general lead of the UAE Tour with a dominant win on stage three.
The Italian made her assault 3.2km from the end on the prime of the Jebel Hafeet climb, and soloed all the way in which to the road to say her first win for her new staff for 2025, UAE ADQ.
Better but, her teammate Silvia Persico sealed a one-two for UAE ADQ by successful the dash for second from a case group of 5 that arrived 36 seconds later, forward of Kimberley Le Court (AG Insurance-Soudal), Monica Trinca Colonel (Liv AlUla-Jayco), Antonia Niedermaier (Canyon-SRAM) and Barbara Malcotti (Human Powered Health).
Borghini inherits the general lead from winner of the primary two phases, Lorena Wiebes (SD Worx – Protime), who was dropped a lot earlier on the climb.
